December 18th is an early release day and dismissal time will be 12:00 pm. Remember to pack a lunch if you haven't pre-ordered a sack lunch.

Our First Virtual Community Night was a Success!

On December 3rd, we hosted our 1st virtual community night. We chose a science night theme and it was a success. Everyone who pre-registered was provided a science kit to participate at home. Almost 100 kits were made, about 75 children participated and some parents were caught joining in the fun. It was a great science night and be on the lookout for more virtual fun coming after the new year!

At-Home Learners - Holiday Deliveries

Due of Covid-19 protocols, the school district has asked that nothing gets delivered to the school to limit any risks. However, if you are an at-home learner and want to send something to your teacher, the Bolin PTA will be collecting the presents and arranging for the teachers and staff to receive everything before the holidays.

The deadline to get everything to the PTA is Wednesday, December 16th. Please contact president@bolinpta.com if you have any questions or to set up a time to drop off your presents.

Staff's Favorites

Presents that teachers cherish the most are often handwritten cards from your children. However, should you wish to purchase something, you can find the list of the staff's favorites on our website or here.

Hurry Before It Is Too Late!

We have sold over $8,500 of our $12,500 goal because of your amazing support. So far more than 112 students registered but if we can get half of our students registered by Monday we will be entered into a drawing for $2500! Register here! It is a very easy process, all items are delivered directly to the purchaser, and there are a ton of great prizes for our students! Remember all orders placed by December 14th at midnight will be delivered before December 25th. We can't wait to see what our Blazers continue to do!

Marci Peschke- Author Visit

Marci is a children's book author and we are very excited to announce that she will be "visiting" our school on January 12, 2021. Author visits are usually in person but this year will be done virtually for everyone's safety and to allow our at-home learners to participate as well. Marci Peschke has written many books and most of you will recognize her for being the author of Kylie Jean Books. She also wrote the "Growing Up Daisy" series as well as Dead Man's Map.

As always, students will be able to get books autograph however, only new books purchased through the PTA will be signed. This is a covid-19 protocol to avoid any extra contacts.
