Bolin PTA is hosting an outdoor movie night on November 5th and our Blazers will be voting in the next few days on the movie they would like to watch. The choices will be Space Jam: A New Legacy, Sonic, and Sing. I cannot wait to see what our Blazers choose. 

There are only a couple days left to order your popcorn. Here is the fundraiser link that can be shared on social media. You can also skip the sale and donate directly to the PTA by clicking this link. Orders are due on Wednesday, October 13. Students can drop off their packets in the vestibules where a PTA member will be there to collect them. Popcorn should be delivered no later than October 28. 

Get those smiles ready! It's picture day on October 20th. 

Our first sets of class shirts have been delivered and since then many teachers and parents asked if there would be a second chance to order. We decided to reopen the order form until October 22nd. You can order your class shirts here.

Red Ribbon week is October 26-29 here are the themes for this year. Remember participation is completely optional, we just like to give our Blazers the option.

Note from the Principal about Character Day: 

"Please adhere to the following guidelines when choosing/designing a costume:

● Characters/costumes must be from elementary age-appropriate books

● Costumes may not involve blood, other horror type elements or anything else that may frighten other children. They also cannot be a distraction to our learning environment.

● No weapons whatsoever.

● Color in the hair, face paint, and hats may be worn; however, masks will not be allowed. **Keep in mind that face paint can become very itchy when it is worn all day through recess, PE, etc. Please plan accordingly.**

● Costumes may not be revealing in nature…may not be see-through material, low cut or tight fitting.

● Tights and leotards are acceptable if covered with tutu, skirt, or shorts.

● Costumes must allow students to take care of personal needs, sit in desks, and participate in school and classroom activities throughout the day.

Bolin Staff and the PTA will once again be hosting our Veterans Day breakfast and program on Thursday, November 11.  Breakfast will start at 7:30 AM, with the program following at 7:50.  If your student(s) would like to bring a veteran to honor during this special event, please complete the RSVP below so that we can plan appropriately.  Kindly reply by Monday, November 8.

If you are planning on having lunch with your Blazers, here is the school information on how to do it. 

"We are able to accommodate 5 visitors per grade level per day for lunch. We cannot accommodate guests during breakfast.Only one guest per student will be permitted. Please limit visits to one time per week so that all students have an opportunity to eat lunch with a guest. Please click here for the sign-up sheet for October 13 - November 18. Guests who have not signed up using this form will not be permitted to stay for lunch.

As a reminder, all guests need a valid photo ID to enter the building."
