College & Career Week!
January 18th - January 22nd
Ms. Balch will be kicking off College and Career Week and has Invites all Blazers to participate in the following dress up days to celebrate and bring awareness to options beyond high school:
Wednesday = Dress for success – wear something to represent your future career.
Thursday = College spirit wear or colors
Friday = Allen Eagle spirit wear or colors
Please remember that participation is ALWAYS optional. Don’t feel as if you need to run out and buy anything special for your student to join in.
The College and Career activities and discussions that Ms. Balch will be initiating are for all students!
Marci is a children's book author and will be "visiting" our school virtually. Author visits are usually done in person but this year, because of Covid-19 restrictions and to accommodate our at-home learners we will be doing it via zoom. Marci Peschke has written many books and most of you will recognize her for being the author of Kylie Jean Books. She also wrote the "Growing Up Daisy" series as well as Dead Man's Map.
As always, students will be able to get books autographed however, only new books purchased through the PTA will be signed. This is a COVID-19 protocol to avoid any extra contacts.
Available books are now available to review and purchase here.
Here you can join the PTA, contact us, keep informed about daily news, fundraising events and opportunities to volunteer in our school. New members as well as existing are encouraged to use this website as a tool and guide to keep informed about special events within the school.
If you already have a Membership Toolkit account with another organization,
you can use the same log-in here. Need more information?
The Bolin PTA is looking for volunteers to serve on a committee with the VP's of Community and Student Programs to brainstorm ideas on how we will adapt events and activities for our students and families.
By joining the PTA, you help us meet our school's needs that are outside the scope of their budget. You also get great discounts, locally and nationally. When you go a step further and volunteer to help with events—or join our board— you set a fine example for our students to follow, and greatly encourage our teachers and staff.
